Data destruction is the process of permanently eliminating digital data. Under regulations such as KVKK and GDPR, personal data must be securely destroyed. Professional data destruction ensures your data is rendered absolutely unrecoverable.
With normal deletion, data is not actually removed from the disk—it is only marked. Secure data erasure overwrites every sector of the disk with special encrypted data in accordance with standards such as DoD 5220.22-M, ensuring that original data cannot be recovered.
Under Article 11 of the KVKK Regulation, the periodic destruction period is set at 6 months. Periodic destruction must be carried out in June and December of each year.
